1. Getting to our B&B is not a problem - Why? We are near Prestwick and Glasgow Airports - Fayre Villa Bed and Breakfast is close enough to be your first or last stop at the beginning or end of your UK or Scotland tour. We are close to Ayr Railway Station We are on a Bus Route We are easy to find - If you are driving you will have no difficulty finding Fayre Villa as we are also close to all major routes in and out of Ayr. Look at the map for directions. 2. What does the area offer you? - Local Attractions: Ayr Race Course is only 100 metres away - take away the worries of car parking and taxi costs. Book early to be sure of having a ring side bed for the big races on the racing calendar. Click here for Race Meeting dates. There are 2 Championship Golf courses within easy reach - Royal Troon 10 miles and Turnberry 17 miles. Book early if participating in or simply wanting to watch the major World events that take place here. There are 2 outdoor bowling greens within 400 metres. Ayr regularly holds major bowling tournaments so book early to be sure of a comfortable room to rest your weary arms. Ayr is in the heart of Burn's Country with many places of interest. Nearby Culzean Castle is a fabulous day out and has beautiful walks Ideal Location for touring the surrounding area - if you want to tour South West Scotland, the Clyde Coast or visit Glasgow and Edinburgh, Fayre Villa is ideally situated to give quick and easy access to all major routes coming into and leaving Ayr. Are you attending a wedding at The Western Hotel in Ayr? - we are just across the road and can accommodate up to six guests very close to the big event and in comfort without the need to wait on taxis. Simple Holiday relaxation - Something for everyone - If you just want to get away from it all, Ayr's long sandy beach is only 5 minutes by car. In addition you will find the town has various leisure facilities to keep the whole family occupied with fun days out within easy reach such as the Burn's Heritage Park, Heads of Ayr Animal Farm Park, Belleisle Park, Rozelle House, Loudon Castle Theme Park or The Magnum Centre in Irvine. 3.
